This Refreshing Lemonade essential oil blend is perfect for diffusing in summer.

As the temperatures get hotter, you might be looking for a way to stay cool and feel energized and refreshed.

What’s the hottest, (or is it coolest) summer drink? You guessed it – Lemonade! Nothing feels as refreshing as a tall glass of lemonade with plenty of ice cubes for extra cooling.

The Refreshing Lemonade Summer Diffuser Blend is cooling and refreshing. Yes, it does smell just like a glass of cold lemonade thanks to its main ingredient – lemon essential oil. Lemon essential oil has a cooling, refreshing aroma. It has the same effect as the drink.

The addition of lime and spearmint essential oils, boost the coolness of the lemon essential oil.

Of course, you can’t forget that sprig of mint. It completes the picture. One drop of peppermint essential oil is all you need to recreate the aroma of the mint garnish in your lemonade.

Ingredients for Refreshing Lemonade Summer Diffuser Blend

  • 4 drops Lemon Essential Oil
  • 2 drops Lime Essential Oil
  • 2 drops Spearmint Essential Oil
  • 1 drop Peppermint Essential Oil

Blend the suggested drops of oil in your diffuser.

Add water up to the suggested water level.

Switch your diffuser on to fill your home with the refreshing aroma of lemonade.

Prefer the Aroma of Pink Lemonade?

Replace the spearmint with Grapefruit essential oil.

Don’t get stuck if you don’t have the exact oils in the recipe. You can create your own ‘Smells like Lemonade’ Summer Diffuser Blend, using any combination of citrus essential oils.

The only essential oil that remains constant is lemon essential oil. Other scents that you can add into the mix are lemongrass, peppermint, lavender, wild orange or bergamot added to the mix.

You can use all of these, or make your own little custom combination of oils.
