I started this site as a way to share with others what I had learned about the health benefits of aromatherapy and essential oils.
A few years ago, well several years ago actually, I was a true globe trotter thanks to my job as an inflight stewardess with an international airline. I loved the job and all the perks that came with it, especially the ability to travel around the world without buying a round-the-world ticket.
The only thing that once in a while turned a potentially exciting experience into a real drag was the jet lag that came from starting out the journey in one continent and ending it halfway across the world.
I had only heard about aromatherapy and essential oils vaguely at that time but did not know that it could actually help with jetlag. Another colleague of mine introduced me to the world of healing aromas and I was intrigued. I was not entirely convinced, however, till I tried it out myself and it worked!! I was hooked from that moment on. Till today I carry my travel diffuser with me everywhere I go. I never leave home without it!
What I like best about aromatherapy and essential oils are the wonderful aromas that surround you even as they work their magic. There’s nothing unpleasant about it, unlike certain medications which can have adverse reactions.
